what i did last year

so my 2016- fandom recap:

1. i was a good girl and stayed away from fests! it was sooo hard, but it was also necessary!



2. 2016 was for certain a podfic year for me- podfic_bingo was a fantastic help and THANK YOU to all those who left so nice comments on my podfics - i still feel i do way to much podfic for a non-native but sadly i have to much fun doing it so i will continue! i have some real gems on my list this year!



3. my biggest podfic yet needs lots, and lots of editing and therefore has ruined all my plans - but 2017 will see it!



4. i tried for the monthly challenges but after 2 months i just noticed that words were failing me so hard- i hope they are back for this year though



5. i failed at finishing any of my old wips and got lots of new ones + ideas- my work for this year!



6. i noticed that reading and writing do not go well together for me as i then loose sight of the story i want to tell- need to work on a strategy there



7. all in all i'm rather satisfied with this year still- yes i failed at words, but i think i improved a lot on the podfic front and i had a blast doing so!

i must say i'm rather proud of myself! i even manged a bingo on my card- and i couldn't use all my recordings for that one, and my biggest one is not even on that sheet yet, as it is still in editing!







and here is the ultimate proof that i am such a drarry girl!!! (really all the other parings besides two i did due to requests LOL- still i enjoyed doing them a lot!)




so that was 2016- now let 2017 begin!

plan for 2017:

1. work on wips!!!



2. work on podfics that are on my list - i cant show you list, but there are surprises on it



3. getyourwordsout not failing on my 150k pledge!!!



4. having fun!
   
   
5. having attitude! - this one applies more to rl then anything else, but i think i really should man up a little, and not worry so much and be such a control freak...

Thank you again for the wonderful podfic you created of my twisted little story. Saw your other post and totally get why you can't create them all the time and for everybody. I tried to create some gift works in my first fandom year, but realised that I'd never be able to bestowe everyone I would love to with presents. That's why I stopped it. I'm just too slow a writer with too little time. Sometimes we just have to accept that we can't do everything. *hugs*

Oh, you love Einaudi as well? I absolutely adore his music. :D

i totally adore einaudi- but he just doesnt do concerts in austria! i would be so lucky to see him on stage once- he is jsut so amazing!

and i really tried, but as you say we have to accept that we simply cant do more than we can, and there are so many nice people in fandom, who we like to hang out with and chat ...

and i'm still so happy that you like it! and i am so grateful for the challenge, i would never have believed i could do something like your story but i can and that is worth knowing! (and it was kinda fascinating for me to see how reading it out loud changed my perspective on it- such an intriguing concept!)
