the description was: a demon, but in the light you can see he is an angle --> well that was the description i found.
i tried to find all the art i could, because somehow someday i want to write a stroy to it

i think that is the one neat thing i learned at current job:

dont fight your battles alone: ask for help before you spend hours trying to figure something out, that others might have already solved, and i think its a good lesson

though of course sometimes it makes fun researching stuff for hours - those occations dont count ;)

I love research and happily spent hours on various archive sites, crawling through the sites and seeing what I can dig out.
Technically it was always only me as I never really had some I could have asked for anything (besides from asking former friends where to watch which anime or where to 'get' series etc) specific ... well most of the things I research for are not everyone's cup of tea.

And I use the knowledge of two language and bits of third one as well when doing research which is super helpful as well.Sure, it sometimes makes research last longer due to so many interesting things I find but in the end it is all time spent well :)

It must be something really oddly specific that I want to know if I ask someone else.

for me it depends what i am researching and what the timeframe is
sometimes i just want to KNOW what i need to know and sometimes i wand to dive into a topic and learn all i can.

and it is always helpful to have more resources available!

its also interesting how everybody does research differently gets knowledge differently!

If I want to know something NOW ... well then I need to do my research now or I can't go on (if it is for some writing I am working on), but if it is something that can wait, then I'll do it, when I know I have enough time at hands. (And not to it at 2am in the morning, unless I have the next day off from work)

I guess the one time it really struck me how much more information you can drag to the surface when you use a different language was when I researched a part of the German/Dutch history for a story. I found out the keywords I should use in Dutch and once I searched with them I got buried under a ton of information, along with pictures and videos I haven't found anywhere else when I had tired it with English or German.
