ok, first things first: this is a netflix-production, so the frames per second are not high
so sometimes it looks rather stiffly...
but after saying that lets get to the meat of it- because it has a rather good taste!
Ajin on AniDB
i dont talk in a particular way, so i think a list might help here - however that means some spoilers are just dropped in, as usual i try to not spoil anything crucial but what do i know what that means...
so my overall verdict is give it a watch, it is interesting and the story is fascinating with its concepts, yes it could be better, but it could also be a lot worse
i enjoyed it (and i rewatched it twice so far) so you might give it a try as well

- the music is pretty neat
- the main concept of the story is fascinating and really enjoyable/li>
- some of the characters are really well developed - SOME of them, some of them lack character so much that i dont know how to put them in the story
- i dont know what they were thinking when they wrote kei... most of the time you do not empathise with him- because there is nothing there... a reason is given for that, but the reason itself lacks conviction, especially as it is often not followed
- the research done about the ajin is fascinating and well thought through, and to me interesting
- that leads me to the prof. he is awesome, and the quirk with the fk's is just hilarious
- personally i think the story flows very well
- the gore is awesome - there is very little of it, well most people would say enough? i dont know i wish for more, but what is there is decently horrifying and also good drawn, though i wish some scenes would not just fade to black... but then again it is an anime, so it is kinda expected, and i should not blame them... aaaaarg i am conflicted
- the conflict at times is very thin and rather x-men like, but well that was also kinda to be expected
so my overall verdict is give it a watch, it is interesting and the story is fascinating with its concepts, yes it could be better, but it could also be a lot worse
