Snowflake Challenge Day 1

let's see how long i have motivation for doing this

Day 1:
In your own space, talk about your Happy Place—the things that give you joy, calms you or keeps you sane. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.


well, i am a simpelton so i have many happy places, and because it is me, and you know me: shall we have a list? let's have a list:

1. my number one happy place is beneath/next/with my queen, i don't care if we both are snuggling together in bed, if i am sitting at my desk and she is sleeping in my lap, or if we are playing and she is clawing my skin away. i just love to spent time with my cat, and she is the most amazing thing, and the knowledge that i will lose her in the nearer future already hurts so much, but i try not to think about it and enjoy the time i have with her - though right now she is sleeping on the sofa with my dad



2. i am also happy when i am sitting in my hanging seat (this is what it looks like: ) on my balcony, enjoying a nice summer day, reading or listening to music or the birds and just unwind. its one of the things i really like about my flat



3. i am also happy when i walk home, no matter if it is just the daily from the train-station to my flat or after a nice walk through the woods, going towards my flat always fills me with content, knowing that my home has everything i need and is just all around amazing



4. i am happy when i spent time with people i like, talking listening to them and how they have been, talking interesting stuff. it is just nice to spent time with lovely people, and i count myself lucky that i know so many of those, no matter if in real life or here on lj (sorry dw, but i am still mostly interacting with ppl on lj because homies!!!)



5. i am happy when i go horseback riding, sadly i seldom have the opportunity because of money issues and because public transport seldom meets with a farm... but i want to change it this year! because i will archive a personal milestone this year, and as a reward i promised myself more horse riding, hopefully i will be able to make it at least a quarterly thing, maybe even a monthly one...

yeah well, that was it for me <3 now i might go and snuggle some with my cat

i think the simple places might work best for me because those are the places where i just can let stuff go
and in my opinion everybody needs a swing chair because its pure heaven xD

Awesome. I like that you've found so many different happy spaces. I need to work at expanding my list of things that bring me joy so I'm not relying on just one thing to always work out right.

I'm glad your home makes you happy :) And oh, riding! It's been years (too expensive for me) but I loved it.

that is the draw back- its so fucking expensive.. i mean i kinda get it but it is still saddening *le big sigh*
