Review: Legion 2010

smirkingcatso this is one of the last hollywood movies i saw and i watched it for the first time last july. i have rewatched it a couple of times since.
yes i am aware it is a really "trashy" movie apparently, but honestly i found it rather refreshing.
it might be just me, but i knew nobody from the cast, but the guy who played gabriel because he also played a minor character in x-man. and that alone was a relief, because hollywood tends to use one actor for ALL THE MOVIES for a couple of years and that gets boring fast.
the story is rather cheap and easy, and you should not expect too much character growth, really- there is some don't me wrong, but to be honest here the whole movie is more of a shooter-game becoming a film kind of thing.
the action is not bad, and the main actor does rather look good, though i enjoyed his voice much more than his looks.
if you want to look for "beautiful" people this is not the movie for it, they nearly all look so random it is truly refreshing!
what makes the movie good is the music! and some parts of the conversations are just amazing!
and i liked the randomness with the drama and action and loads and loads of shootings.
i also will tell you however that after the first 3 times watching it, i now just turn it on to have something in the background and only watch the scenes that i find absolutely amazing. so if you are searching for a quick and easy action movie to watch once you will be fine with it, if you want an epic movie this will disappoint you.
