i must confess, that withoutstarduchess patience and wonderful help and the motivational talks from lyonessheart and themightyflynn it would have been impossible for me to be part of this fest this year, and i so wanted to at least be part of it with one entry (i wont mention that secretly i had hopes for two) because with the move and the old job and now new no job situation it was really hard, and then i found out that in my new flat i have an echo problem - it took so much effort to get it out of the way, and i have to fix it and find a spot where it doesnt happen before i try working on my hd_owlpost... the best thing would be getting an external mic with a filter and a nice station, and i have my eye set on one, but due to obvious reasons (why do i not already have a new job?) i cant afford it yet, but that just means i have to try harder for the future.
so while this is sadly a little bit messy with the quality of the recording, i found it a lot easier to do than when i remember my first efforts. i still record everything 2 times, because the first time i just am reading so damn fast that it's not good to listen to, but i found that i became way better with the pacing, and i got the voices right, and in my mind i know have the harry-voice, the draco-voice the ron-voice, the kingsley-voice, the hermione-voice down i still struggle with blaise, i know what i WANT him to sound like, but i'm not sure how i get there, though i will try to get there, in the end it's just acting with the voices, and i like that so i will keep on doing it and practicing it and having fun...
so this has gotten rather long anyway- THANKS so much to those afore mentioned people and thanks to the listeners and commenters- you all made my days!
