Everybody needs a hobby
It was a guilty pleasure. He was aware of that, and yet he still loved to do it.
"Look at that gaudy tree. You would not even find me dead in a ten mile radius of it," Draco said, as they found yet another "victim of bad taste" as Draco liked to call them.
"This one is actually not that bad," Harry agued. Not because he didn't agree, but because needling Draco was half the fun of their walk through town, checking out the Christmas tree others put up.
"Potter, you must be joking," Draco replied aghast. "Have you looked at it? Are your glasses clean? Your eyes working?"
"Yes, Draco I can see it, and it is not bad, it has fairy lights, and nice decoration."
"It is crocked!!! And the fairy lights are strung uneven. It is horrible. I am half tempted to fix it with a spell, but I have the feeling those weird muggles are even proud of that manifestation of horror."
"Well, I like the red. It is nice, warm, traditional."
Draco looked at him for a long moment, before he started to walk again. "You just like the red because you are a Gryffindor. Which also means you have no taste. Furthermore, our tree will stay violet and white. It looks fantastic and it is a good compromise between the two of us."
Harry followed Draco, smile hiding behind his scarf.
He did adore their tree, but usually Draco was poised beyond believe, especially since the war. Nearly nothing could rattle him. So it was nice to needle him a bit, at least once a year.
