Wrapping paper
With a suspicious glare Teddy eyed the brown paper Harry rolled over the table. "We are going to use that?" He asked sounding so much like an offended Draco that Harry was startled.
"What is wrong with it?" He asked the small boy.
"Besides the fact that it is brown?" Teddy carefully reached out with a finger and poked the paper roll, "and feels incredible cheap, nothing I guess."
"Teddy, this is perfectly fine wrapping paper, and we can even write on it, or colour it with paint," Harry tried to explain.
Teddy now looked at him rather suspicious. "We could. And I think gran would like it... but what about Draco? I want to impress Draco. Have you ever unwrapped a gift by him? It's the best thing EVER!"
Harry sighed inwardly. He had indeed received gifts from Draco, and so he knew what Teddy was saying was true. Somehow tearing apart gifts from Draco felt more satisfying. And then the gift was well chosen and lead to further satisfaction. In a way, it was the best thing ever.
However Harry had no idea where Draco bought that satisfying wrapping paper.... so, they had to work with what he had. Even if what he had did not meet Teddy's standards.
"Well, what if we add not only some colour to the paper, but maybe some sugar canes, and holly berries and other decoration?" He asked in a last attempt.
Teddy seemed to think about it really hard. "Would we be allowed to taste a sugar cane while working on it?" He finally asked.
Harry bid back a smile. That sweet tooth totally run in the Black-bloodline.
"Why yes, I think we practically have to, to make sure they are up to standard as well."
"Then I think, that might be an acceptable solution," Teddy nodded, before adding. "For this year."
