[challenge:] g.y.s.d. - Day 13 (Nov. 13)
Nov. 12th, 2016 02:00 pmGoals for the month: get back into my routines, and get as much stuff done on my to do list as possible, get one more job interview
Goal for the day: whatever is on my plate to get done!
Goals reached yesterday:managed to get a chunk done on beta thing, and made a few words on owl, also managed to spent time with cat
Progress that you managed: notice i have plot holes
Wordcount: about 250
I need: motivation/help/kick in the arse/ some info
I want to share: today i have a awesome story for you:
as you know i went back home on friday, and after arriving- and shocking my cat by doing so, and cleaning my room- and annoying my cat by doing that, she loathates (loathe + hates - i try to make that a thing, help is appreciated) the vacuum cleaner, i decided what my smelly cat really needs would be a bath. so i gave her one, and then i did the hot shower, as to warm up the bathroom for the both of us, and i know she gets less pissed if i am wet too. what i found most amazing is that due to the winter being here, and the rain i thought my cat would stay inside being her awesome fluffy clean self all weekend. and let me tell you now, you really can't get my cat outside if it rains, she does not do wet; except apparently when she was bathed, because this saturday morning (4am to be precise, but who cares about such minor details, or about me getting a lie in) nothing was more pleasing to her than to go out in the _storm_ that is going on outside! i wonder if i shall be annoyed, pissed off, or just marvel at her genius for getting back at me? i'm not decided yet, but if there was ever any doubt that cats are awesome and genius, i think this is the proof to the contrary!
yesterday night i had a minor break-down with stuff not going as well as i hoped they would on my end due to various reasons, one of them being that i look at my to do lists and am just overwhelmed with all the stuff that is on there which i know wont fit in 2016 anymore, and i'm also quite anxious due to job hunt not going well.
but then the first lesson i had to learn, back in therapy about my burn out, was that stress while it is contagious from the outside, takes root on the inside, and is about how we see and think about the time we spent. and i recalled some of the techniques on how to "de-stress" and so i went to search for them, to remember more: here is what i found, i hope it will help you too!
there is a whole website dedicated to destressing: destress.com
here are 16 ways to destress and here are 10 ways to destress there is a bit of a overlap, given, but one can never read to much about such things. also i was helped by playing vid games, updating my journal and trying to figure out what i can do and cuddling with my cat. ket the mojo flow again, let the progress be there! and in the end i try as much as i can to get done as much as i can, that is all i can do!
all the best to you too
my cat is now again inside (2 hours later) and sitting on my lap to get all the wetness on me, since i made her wet yesterday i guess...)
