Author's Notes: Luna does not get a lot of words in, but her advice seems sound.
this one is really different, but i hope still to taste :D
Advice to be given
Luna knows that she is rather easy going because really there is not enough time in life to get upset over things. And seldom she regrets things she chose to do. However inviting both Harry and Draco to help her decorate the animal shelter for the seasonal visit f the orphanage.
As soon as Neville saw Ron and Harry arrive at the same time as Draco and Blaise he had sighed and went to "do something in the shed."
As there is always something to do in the shed, Luna let him go. It is only now, a few hours later, that she wished, she could have made him stay.
Blaise and Ron, she doesn't need to worry for. They are quite the cute couple and have been seen multiple times on dates already. And they work together marvelously. Luna is happy for them, and they are such a nice couple.
She sighs again as she looks at the other two. She thinks it would be beneficial to hex them with some kind of sex-spell. Maybe when they get it out of their system they can work together again, instead of murdering her fairy lights.
But it is against her principal to curse people, even if it is to be for their own good.
She watches as the fight some more, before Draco throws his hands in the air, and then throws a spell at the lights so that they hang themselves over the fence and the nearby trees.
There is a groan from Harry, before he comes running towards Luna.
"Luna, why did you only invite four people, your shelter is huge, we need to be more people," Harry asks her, slightly out of breath.
"Actually I- "
"-and why only those two morons? We don't need them? I mean what were you thinking?"
"They are nice, and they –"
"-they are Slytherins. Not that school houses matter anymore, but they behaviour is just so gross and over the top. I can't understand how Ron thinks dating Zabini anyway. Looks aren't anything, really. Not that I want to imply that Zabini is good looking or anything, but you know."
"But Blaise is good looking. And he seems to make Ron happy. Aren't you happy for-"
"Yeah, ok Blaise is useful, but Malfoy- Malfoy is just being an arse, you know?"
"Shall I go and work with him, and you feed the animals?" Luna offers. It is a bid hard to keep up with Harry, but who is she to interrupt her friend, when it is not a case of emergency.
Harry looks at her shocked. "Well- no- I mean... I can work with him... it's not like we are still in school."
"You know what Harry? Why don't you just take Draco home, and have a lovely evening together? Since the fairy lights are all hung now, the rest should be easy," Luna says with an easy smile.
"What? Why would I take Malfoy home? Besides he would never agree to come with me," Harry disagrees. To Luna he sounds quite sad over that fact.
"Well, then why don't you go home with him. Draco surly is a capable man, he will take good care of you," Luna smiles.
"Ehh- Luna he hates me;" Harry disagrees, "and I hate him," he adds as fast as he can.
Luna sometimes wonders how people can be so obvious about their own state of being, but she knows better than to outright disagree.
"I don't think he hates you, you both never got a chance to get to know each other, maybe you should change that," she suggests.
Luna watches as Harry wants to disagree but then he walks back to Draco. She can not hear the words they exchange but after a few they disappear, and it is like their whole clearing is breathing a sigh of relief. So much tension between the two of them.
"Hey, were is Harry off to?" Ron ask as Luna passes him on her way to Neville.
"He and Draco need some time to get their systems refreshed. Hopefully the Narggles will then leave them alone as well," she answers dutifully.
