[challenge:] g.y.s.d. - Day 8 (Nov.8)
Goals for the month:
Goal for the day:survive work, go to yet another interesting exhibition _after work_, edit the recording from yesterday, put down words
Goals reached yesterday:well i did the recording, then my pc went crazy, and now recording is gone so i have to do it again *sigh* and it was a good go!
Progress that you managed: i put my c-hard drive back to 500gb because windows needs more than 110gb(on itself and all alone)
Wordcount:none because distracted by pc troubles
I need: motivation! so much motivation because i am all "meh" right now !
I want to share:
ok, today i come at you with a question:
what do you all think about this mindfluness movement?
like i understand the concept on focusing on what you are doing now, and do it with concentration and awareness, but i mean all the time? as a writer i need my daydreams, i need to swift off and let my thoughts wander to find the story. and i totally have written stories already posted by just writing down what is in my mind and coming and going. also my work is really not difficult, so i also plot and take notes while doing it.
i dont feel bad about that, and honestly i like that my wind has the ability to walk off and into stories, and i dont do it when i am with others talking or really focusing on a task (and i usually do only one task at a time as i _suck_ at multi-tasking)?
so what do you think- should i be more mindful, even while doing routine, boring tasks?
is there a up-side down-side to it?

Goals for the month:Tick off the things on my to-do list that I keep avoiding, finish owl assignments and go back to writing on a WIP, change habits so I get to work on time more often, train for and aim to pass fitness test at end of this month
Goal for the day: For the third time - finish and send the stupid report, go to banks, update ficance stuff, write more words
Goals reached yesterday: I wrote some fic words! (which was surprisingly easy once I set to do it)
Progress that you managed: I was so close to finishing my report. Think I'm about 2 paragraphs off giving it to my boss for review
Wordcount: 153
I need: to rest my ankle as much as possible
I want to share: I sprained my ankle at my PT session last night and I'm hoping it doesn't put me out for too long.
Also a quote from Marie Curie - Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.
