Hunted

With a heavy grin Harry dashed out of the woods and onto the main street. The light was a bit too bright for his liking, but he can deal far better with it than Draco. He had to slow his run a bit though, because the romantic scene has called many couples to the streets. And it was also making it difficult to listen for Draco, or to smell him. No, for now he had to rely on his sense of smell.
His heart was beating faster, as he was unsure as to where Draco was. Was he close? Was he running just over there in the first lines of trees. The snow and the light made it impossible to tell.

It was a thrill he only got from Draco: Being the hunted.

He was a powerful wizard, and a strong alpha with a mighty pack behind him. Even the Ministry had stopped challenging him and his kin.

"Believing a crowd will safe you, Potter? How lazy."

A sharp jolt run though his spine, as he heard Draco's voice, close. He had to run faster. he had to leave the crowds. With a sharp turn he arrived at the old graveyard. He didn't even need to stop, he just jumped across the high wall.

Darkness, and silence. And more importantly grounds filled with death, poison to the immortal.

Maybe Harry should write to the Ministry and make them change their teaching books, make them finally teach some truths about vampires.... But he would hate it, if Draco were to return the favour. And currently, Draco still knew far more about him, than he knew about Draco.

"You think the dead will protect you forever?"

"No, but long enough to make it uncomfortable for you," Harry shouted back.

"Well then wolf, shall here be the end of the game?" Draco suddenly appeared in front of him, melting out of the shadows. He looked perfectly fine, but Harry saw the strain in his eyes.

"Not bloody likely," he returned before he dashed through the graveyard, mapping out the longest route, before he leaped over the wall again, leaving the graveyard, dashing towards the wood.

Draco would get him, eventually. But Harry still made him work for it, it kept them both sharp, their loved ones safe, and them entertained.

And if he got Draco relaxed enough he might even get his wicked way with him later.
